If we call on God in prayer with a true heart when facing formidable challenges, God will bestow strength upon us to increase our faith. We then are able to do things that people think impossible, for God holds sovereignty over all things, God’s authority is superlative to all. When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, nobody expected this thing could be accomplished, because they had the Pharaoh’s army coming up behind and the Red Sea in front of them. However, God made the water of the Red Sea stand as a wall. In the end, the Israelites left Egypt and crossed the Red Sea. From this we can see the importance of relying on God. Just as the scriptures say, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Share a paragraph of God’s words, “God’s authority is everywhere, at every hour, at every instant. If heaven and earth were to pass away, His authority would never pass away, for He is God Himself, He possesses the unique authority, and His authority is not restricted or limited by people, events, or things, by space or by geography. At all times God wields His authority, shows His might, continues His management work as always; at all times He rules all things, provides for all things, orchestrates all things, just as He always did. No one can change this. It is fact; it has been the unchanging truth since time immemorial!”
