Gospel Sermon: Why Is the God Incarnate of the Last Days Female?
In the last days, the incarnate Almighty God has appeared to work and expressed many truths. These have been put on the internet and shaken the entire world, as more and more people investigate the appearance and work of Almighty God. It is clear that God coming incarnate and expressing the truth fully demonstrates the power of God’s words and God’s omnipotence. As they investigate the true way, many people see that the words expressed by Almighty God are authoritative, powerful, that they are the truth, that they come from God, and they are convinced and left with no further doubts. Yet when they hear that Christ of the last days, Almighty God, is female, many shake their heads and refuse to accept Him. They think that when the Lord Jesus came, He was male, the Holy Spirit also testified that the Lord Jesus was a “beloved Son” at the time, and the Bible also contains such records, so when the Lord returns, He will be male, in the image of the Judaic Lord Jesus. He will absolutely not be female. No matter how much truth Almighty God expresses and how great the work He does, they refuse to accept, let alone seek and investigate. Their reasoning is, “If Almighty God was male, I would believe, but if He is female, no matter what you say, I will never believe, because the Lord Jesus was male.” Due to this, they miss the opportunity to welcome the Lord’s return and fall into disaster, which is quite a pity. So, are the statements and views of these religious people correct? Are they in line with biblical prophecy? Do they have a basis in God’s word? None at all. This is because the Lord Jesus didn’t specify whether He would be male or female when He returns, and the Holy Spirit did not testify whether the Son of man would be male or female when He returns. The Bible also does not prophesy whether God will be male or female when He returns in the last days. This is sufficient proof that human sayings and views have no biblical basis and are nothing but people’s notions and imaginings. Many people ask, “Why is the incarnate God in the last days female instead of male?” Here, I’ll share some of my personal understanding of this question.
There are many prophecies in the Bible about God coming incarnate as the Son of man in the last days, but it doesn’t specify whether the Lord will be male or female when He returns in the last days. It only says “the coming of the Son of man,” “the Son of man comes,” and “the Son of man be in His day.” Today, Almighty God has come, expressed much truth, and does the work of judgment in the last days, which fulfills these prophecies. Yet it surprises people when they discover Christ of the last days is female. This doesn’t fit with our notions at all. As it’s God’s appearance and work, it’s entirely normal that people have notions about it. People had even greater misunderstandings when the Lord Jesus came. But the more people have notions about something, the more that thing is a mystery. If God doesn’t reveal these mysteries, we will never understand them. So, let’s look at what Almighty God says. Almighty God says, “If God came into the flesh only as a male, people would define Him as male, as the God of men, and would never believe Him to be the God of women. Men would then hold that God is of the same gender as men, that God is the head of men—but what then of women? This is unfair; is it not preferential treatment? If this were the case, then all those whom God saved would be men like Him, and not one woman would be saved. When God created mankind, He created Adam and He created Eve. He did not only create Adam, but made both male and female in His image. God is not only the God of men—He is also the God of women” (“The Vision of God’s Work (3)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). “Each stage of work done by God has its own practical significance. Back then, when Jesus came, He came in male form, and when God comes this time, His form is female. From this, you can see that God’s creation of both men and women can be of use in His work, and with Him there is no distinction of gender. When His Spirit comes, He can take on any flesh He pleases, and that flesh can represent Him; whether male or female, it can represent God as long as it is His incarnate flesh” (“The Two Incarnations Complete the Significance of the Incarnation” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). From Almighty God’s words, we can see that regardless of whether God’s incarnation is male or female, it is significant. There is truth to seek in it, and it can allow us to understand God’s will and know God’s disposition. If the incarnate God was always male, what would be the consequence? People would delimit God as eternally male and never female, and females would suffer discrimination and be unable to live as full members of society. Would that be fair to women? God is a righteous God, and God made man and woman, so God became a male for His first incarnation, and in the last days, God was incarnated as female. This is very significant, and something for which all women should cheer and rejoice, and no longer hold any notions. If a woman can still reject and discriminate against the incarnate female God, then that woman is too pitiable! In truth, it doesn’t matter whether God’s incarnation is male or female. What matters is that He can express the truth and do the work of salvation. People shouldn’t think that God incarnate can only do God’s work if He is male, and that He can’t do God’s work if He is female. It is backward and ignorant to think this way. Today, we have all seen that women can do anything men can do. For example: Men can fly airplanes, so can women. Men can be astronauts, so can women. Men can be presidents, so can women. Men can run businesses and maintain careers, and women can also run businesses and maintain careers. The facts prove that women are no less capable than men. Then why is it that the incarnate God can only be male, and can’t be female? Look at Almighty God, who has expressed so much truth and done so much work. Has being female hindered God’s work at all? Almighty God’s work of judgment in the last days is far greater than the work done by the Lord Jesus. Almighty God has expressed more and deeper truth than that expressed by the Lord Jesus. The facts are obvious to all, so why can’t people recognize them? How many women are oppressed, discriminated against, and suffering in the world today? They need to have equal status with men, and more than that, they need salvation and freedom. Who can save our female companions? Today, Almighty God has come, and He has expressed the truth to judge this evil world and humankind, who is so deeply corrupted. There are many women who have seen that the incarnate Almighty God is female, can express the truth, and does the work of judgment in the last days, and therefore feel proud of being a woman. They hold their heads high, they have gained a sense of freedom and release, and they all celebrate and praise Almighty God. That God came incarnate as female shows God’s righteous disposition. Only God truly loves humankind, and only God can truly treat people fairly. God is so loveable! Now let’s consider another matter. The male Lord Jesus was able to bear people’s sins and finished the work of redemption by being crucified. If the Lord Jesus had come as female, would He have been able to finish the work of redemption by being crucified? There is no doubt that He would have been able to. God’s incarnation means that God’s Spirit puts on a human shell, and regardless of whether this shell is male or female, He is God Himself. He expresses the truth and does work, all of which are done and controlled by God’s Spirit. Therefore, no matter whether God’s incarnate flesh is male or female, He is qualified to represent God’s identity and do the work of God Himself, and ultimately, the work will be finished and God will gain glory. It’s just as Almighty God says. “If Jesus had appeared as a female when He came, in other words, if an infant girl, and not a boy, had been conceived by the Holy Spirit, that stage of work would have been completed all the same. If that had been the case, then the present stage of work would have to be completed by a male instead, but the work would be completed all the same. The work done in each stage has its significance; neither stage of work is repeated, nor does it conflict with the other” (“The Two Incarnations Complete the Significance of the Incarnation” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). This means it doesn’t matter whether the incarnate flesh is male or female. As long as He can express the truth and finish the work God wants to accomplish, as well as purify and save mankind, He is the incarnate God. If people think that God incarnate can only be male and not female, isn’t this purely a product of people’s rules, notions, and imaginations? Do they think God made man and not woman? Because the incarnate God is female, no matter how much truth He expresses or how great the work He does, people don’t recognize or accept Him. Isn’t this purely because people deny and discriminate against women? Isn’t this just one of humankind’s corrupt dispositions? People have no right to choose how God appears and works. As long as He is God’s incarnation, and as long as He expresses the truth and does God’s work, no matter whether the flesh is male or female, people should accept and obey. This is the reasonable and wise course. God is almighty and all-wise, and God’s thoughts are beyond human thoughts. How could humans hope to comprehend God’s work? From ancient times to the present, every stage of God’s work has exceeded and gone against human notions. When the Lord Jesus appeared and worked, His appearance, birth and family were extremely out of step with human notions. This is why the Pharisees didn’t admit He was the Messiah prophesied in Scripture and finally nailed Him to the cross, committing a heinous sin for which they were punished and cursed by God. It was a thought-provoking lesson paid for in blood. So, everything involving God’s appearance and work is a major event and a mystery. If people don’t seek the truth, insist on sticking to their notions, and judge and decide so lightly, they are very likely to offend God’s disposition. If you are rejected and eliminated by God and lose His salvation, you will have no bigger regret.
Today, there are still countless people who refuse to accept Almighty God’s appearance and work in the last days because He is female, and even, despite knowing that Almighty God’s words are the truth, do not accept Him. What is the problem here? Why are these people’s notions so strong? Why don’t they value the truth and the expression of the truth above all else? As people, as members of humankind, who are created beings, we should treat God and His work reasonably. If we clearly know that Almighty God is the incarnate God and clearly know the words expressed by Almighty God are the truth, yet we still cling to our notions and refuse to accept Him because He is female, this is a very serious problem. To do this is to deny and resist God. Refusing to recognize the incarnate God or the truth He expresses also goes beyond a mere problem of notions and imaginings. It makes you an antichrist, God’s enemy, and someone who should be cursed! As stated in Scripture: “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2 John 1:7). “Every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:3). So, we can be certain that anyone who does not accept the Son of man’s return and anyone who does not recognize the returned incarnate God is an antichrist. Do you think God will save antichrists when He returns? Absolutely not. So, what is the ending for antichrists? What is it that antichrists do wrong? They are not merely resisting a person, they are resisting Christ of the last days, God Himself. What is the essence of condemning and judging Almighty God? It’s the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. This sin will never be forgiven, not now or in the future.
Many people today believe in God but don’t know God’s work, nor do they know what the Son of man is, what the incarnation is, or who is the one true God. Like this, it is easy to resist the incarnate God. So, we must never use our notions and imaginations to delimit God’s work. Instead, we should seek the truth and get rid of our notions. Only in this way can we receive God’s blessings. The significance of the work during God’s two incarnations is far-reaching and profound. This is what Almighty God has said. “God is not merely the Holy Spirit, the Spirit, the sevenfold intensified Spirit, or the all-encompassing Spirit, but is also a human—an ordinary human, an exceptionally common human. He is not only male, but also female. They are similar in that They are both born to humans, and dissimilar in that one was conceived by the Holy Spirit and the other was born to a human, though derived directly from the Spirit. They are similar in that both incarnate fleshes of God carry out the work of God the Father, and dissimilar in that one performed the work of redemption while the other does the work of conquest. Both represent God the Father, but one is the Redeemer, filled with lovingkindness and mercy, and the other is the God of righteousness, filled with wrath and judgment. One is the Supreme Commander who launched the work of redemption, while the other is the righteous God who accomplishes the work of conquest. One is the Beginning, the other the End. One is sinless flesh, while the other is flesh that completes the redemption, continues the work, and is never sinful. Both are the same Spirit, but They dwell in different fleshes and were born in different places, and They are separated by several thousand years. However, all Their work is mutually complementary, never conflicting, and can be spoken of in the same breath. Both are people, but one was a baby boy and the other was an infant girl” (“What Is Your Understanding of God?” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). We see from Almighty God’s words that when God comes incarnate to do the work of saving humankind, it doesn’t matter whether God is male or female, what family He comes from, or what He looks like. None of these are important. What matters most is that He can do God’s work, carry out God’s will, and bring glory to God. Two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus was born in a manger to a very ordinary family in Judea. People had notions about this. They all judged the Lord Jesus for being a carpenter’s son from Nazareth and refused to accept His work on that account. The result was that they were cursed by God and lost their salvation. In the last days, Almighty God has come. He was born to an ordinary family and has an Asian appearance. Outwardly, He appears to be an ordinary person, yet He expresses so much truth, does the work of judgment in the last days, conquers people and makes a group of overcomers. Almighty God has done such powerful work that has shaken the whole world, and has also ended the history of Satan corrupting humankind for thousands of years and begun a new era. What qualifies people to have notions about God coming incarnate as female? Such people are too arrogant and irrational. Today, Almighty God’s kingdom gospel is preached all over the world. The steps of God’s work are vast, mighty, and unstoppable, and God’s word will accomplish everything. It fully reveals God’s righteous disposition, omnipotence, and wisdom. Just as Almighty God says, “All of God’s work in the last days is done through this ordinary man. He will bestow everything upon you, and what is more, He will be able to decide everything relating to you. Can such a man be as you believe Him to be: a man so simple as to be unworthy of mention? Is His truth not enough to utterly convince you? Is witness of His deeds not enough to utterly convince you? Or is it that the path He brings is not worthy for you to walk on? When all is said and done, what is it that causes you to abhor Him and to cast Him away and give Him a wide berth? It is this man who expresses the truth, it is this man who provides the truth, and it is this man who gives you a path to follow. Could it be that you are still unable to find the traces of God’s work within these truths? Without the work of Jesus, mankind could not have come down from the cross, but without the incarnation of today, those who come down from the cross could never gain God’s approval or enter into the new age. Without the coming of this ordinary man, you would never have the opportunity to see the true countenance of God, nor would you be qualified to, for you are all objects that should have long ago been destroyed. Because of the coming of the second incarnation of God, God has forgiven you and shown you mercy. Regardless, the words I must leave you with in the end are still these: This ordinary man, who is God incarnate, is of vital importance to you. This is the great thing that God has already done among men” (“Did You Know? God Has Done a Great Thing Among Men” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
“The fact that you have arrived at today is thanks to this flesh. It is because God lives in the flesh that you have the chance to survive. All this good fortune has been gained on account of this ordinary man. Not only this, but in the end, every nation shall worship this ordinary man, as well as give thanks to and obey this insignificant man, because it is the truth, the life, and the way He brought that has saved all mankind, eased the conflict between man and God, shortened the distance between them, and opened up a connection between the thoughts of God and man. It is also He who has obtained even greater glory for God. Is such an ordinary man unworthy of your trust and adoration? Is such an ordinary flesh unfit to be called Christ? Can such an ordinary man not become the expression of God among men? Does such a man, who has spared mankind from disaster, not deserve your love and your desire to hold on to Him? If you reject the truths expressed from His mouth and detest His existence among you, then what will become of you in the end?” (“Did You Know? God Has Done a Great Thing Among Men” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
“In the Age of Kingdom, God uses words to usher in the new age, to change the means by which He works, and to do the work of the entire age. This is the principle by which God works in the Age of Word. He became flesh to speak from different perspectives, so that man could truly see God, who is the Word appearing in the flesh, and could behold His wisdom and wondrousness. Such work is done in order better to achieve the goals of conquering man, perfecting man, and eliminating man, which is the true meaning of the use of words to work in the Age of Word. Through these words, people come to know the work of God, the disposition of God, the substance of man, and what man ought to enter into. Through words, the work God wishes to do in the Age of Word is brought to fruition in its entirety. Through these words, people are exposed, eliminated, and tried. People have seen God’s words, heard these words, and recognized the existence of these words. As a result, they have come to believe in the existence of God, in the omnipotence and wisdom of God, as well as in God’s love for man and His desire to save man. The word ‘words’ may be simple and ordinary, but the words spoken from the mouth of the incarnate God shake the universe, they transform people’s hearts, transform their notions and old dispositions, and transform the way the whole world used to appear. Through the ages, only the God of today has worked in this way, and only He speaks thus and comes to save man thus. From this time forward, man lives under the guidance of God’s words, shepherded and supplied by His words. People live in the world of God’s words, amid the curses and the blessings of God’s words, and there are even more people who have come to live under the judgment and chastisement of His words. These words and this work are all for the sake of man’s salvation, for the sake of fulfilling God’s will, and for the sake of changing the original appearance of the world of old creation. God created the world using words, He leads people throughout the universe using words, and He conquers and saves them using words. Ultimately, He shall use words to bring the entire world of old to an end, thus completing the entirety of His management plan” (“The Age of Kingdom Is the Age of Word” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
“I was once known as Jehovah. I was also called the Messiah, and people once called Me Jesus the Savior with love and esteem. Today, however, I am no longer the Jehovah or Jesus that people knew in times past; I am the God who has returned in the last days, the God who shall bring the age to an end. I am the God Himself that rises up from the end of the earth, replete with My entire disposition, and full of authority, honor, and glory. People have never engaged with Me, never known Me, and have always been ignorant of My disposition. From the creation of the world until today, not one person has seen Me. This is the God who appears to man in the last days but is hidden among man. He resides among man, true and real, like the burning sun and the blazing flame, filled with power and brimming with authority. There is not a single person or thing that shall not be judged by My words, and not a single person or thing that shall not be purified through the burning of fire. Eventually, all nations shall be blessed because of My words, and also smashed to pieces because of My words. In this way, all people during the last days shall see that I am the Savior returned, and that I am the Almighty God that conquers all of mankind. And all shall see that I was once the sin offering for man, but that in the last days I also become the flames of the sun that incinerate all things, as well as the Sun of righteousness that reveals all things. This is My work in the last days. I took this name and am possessed of this disposition so that all people may see that I am a righteous God, the burning sun, the blazing flame, and so that all may worship Me, the one true God, and so that they may see My true face: I am not only the God of the Israelites, and I am not just the Redeemer; I am the God of all creatures throughout the heavens and the earth and the seas” (“The Savior Has Already Returned Upon a ‘White Cloud’” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).
