In recent years, we have seen that disasters such as plagues, wars, famines, earthquakes, and floods are more and more serious around the world. Especially in 2021, disasters are occurring more frequently and more seriously than before. Many people are concerned about disasters that may befall them, and they want to be protected by God during disasters, but few seek what God’s will is when disasters occur. In fact, the occurrence of these disasters is exactly the sign of the Lord’s return, indicating that the Lord has already returned. Only if we welcome the Lord’s return can we have the chance to gain God’s protection. Matthew 24:7–8

2. The Only Way to Be Protected From Disasters

“Behold, I come quickly” (Revelation 22:12). This is the Lord Jesus’ promise to people 2,000 years ago. Now disasters are occurring, which precisely fulfills the prophecies of the Lord’s return. The Lord has already come back and expressed the truth to do the work of judging and purifying mankind to completely save people from the bondage of sin, so that we can have the chance to survive the disasters and be brought into the heavenly kingdom. Sending down disasters is a way by which God saves us. Then how can we welcome the Lord and find the only way to gain protection? Read on.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist.

We can see that the key to welcoming the Lord is to heed God’s voice. When hearing some people testify that the Lord has come back and expressed words, we should hurriedly seek to listen to the Lord’s words. When we recognize God’s voice from the returned Lord’s words and see God’s appearance, we should accept and obey God. This is welcoming the Lord and feasting with Him. And then we will have the chance to gain God’s protection during disasters.
