Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees. A Commentary on Matthew 16:6
Then Jesus said to them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

And I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God: and I will write on him My new name.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
